From Monday 7th May we’ll be running a great new line-up of offers:
Mondayevenings you’ll be able to order a curry and a glass of house wine (or ale) for just £10 and we’ll even throw in a couple of poppadoms.
Tuesday evenings you’ll still be able to bag a great deal with our 2 for 1 offer on main courses.
Wednesday sees the introduction of Fish Night, with a weekly changing British Isles fish special and a glass of Cava for just £15.
Fridays will be Steak Night with a 2 for 1 offer on all our steaks sourced from the British Isles (well, Highfields Farm in East Sussex, to be exact).
Sundays is the day to kick back and enjoy a good old British Sunday Roast.
On Thursday morning (26th April) at 6.22am this kindly gentleman reversed his van into our car park, opened the gate at the side of the pub, and promptly helped himself to 24 brand new chairs with a value of £600.
This kindly soul then jumped back into his van and made off with his ill-gotten booty.
Whilst we were a little remiss not having barbed wire all over the place, we had actually become quite attached to our new chairs, and now have nothing to sit on to soak up all the wonderfully good weather we’re having at the mo…
However our friendly thief was good enough to pose for the cctv cameras both at the front and rear of the building, and backed his van up right under the nose of one of the cameras (clearly not the sharpest ‘tool’ in the box).
So if you recognize the van, or know someone who might be trying to flog 24 new chairs, we would be very grateful if you could point him in our direction…we quite fancy a word with him…
Well here’s a pretty unbeatable offer if ever I’ve heard one: buy one main meal and get one entirely free. The offer is available Monday and Tuesday evenings and will run throughout March and April, applying to main course dishes chosen from the A la Carte menu (cheapest item free).
More offers and events to come shortly, so keep your eyes peeled!!
So, here it is, the not-so-humble single yellow line, and it appears that this silent little road marking is causing some of our guests a not inconsiderable level of consternation at the end of a convivial evening. Why is this?
Because our friendly neighbourhood traffic wardens are out until MIDNIGHT giving cars parked on the small section of yellow line to the right of our entrance, £110 fixed penalty charges. So PLEASE don’t ruin your evening by allowing yourself to get a ticket – after all you would do much better spending the money with us! Hooraayyyy!!
The latest edition of Time Out is now available on the news-stands, and it’s cover story is all about the best Sunday lunches available across the capital.
We’re really proud to say that we feature as one of only seven locations featured in North London, and is testament to all the hard work that the team has put in recently in raising the bar at the Adam and Eve.

Small self-congratulatory pat on the back for us!!
Well, here he is, the new group manager for the Adam and Eve and our sister pub the Prince Albert in leafy Camden. Gareth comes to us from a group of pubs in Hertfordshire, and having owned his own group in and around Bath.
Gareth’s strengths lie in his attention to detail and his impressive knowledge of the industry. His first task is to take a little look at the service at the Adam and Eve, and improve it where he feels it necessary. This always takes a little time, so I’m sure you’ll all bear with him while the changes take effect.
Apparently the photographer responsible for this photo told him ‘not to smile’ and that normally he’s far more cheery than the picture suggests. I’m sure time will tell!!
What a super chap he is!
